Based on the CLIP platform, Snowbridge has successfully implemented DID and verifiable credential technologies into practical applications. Snowbridge is also one of the node operators for the Indicio Blockchain and we are always exciting to help customers and partners creating successful stories.
Certificate of Title
The Land Administration Department under the Ministry of the Interior, Taiwan, has been promoting the “Service-oriented Smart Government 2.0 – the Smart Real Estate Registration Plan (2021-2025)” since 2021. The first stage is the “Development and Construction of the Electronic Property Rights Certificate System,” which was completed by Snowbridge Inc. in December 2021. This project uses verifiable credential data model to digitize real estate’s certificate of title, and it is the first successful case to implement verifiable credential application in Taiwan government.
Tax certificate wallet
In 2022, Snowbridge participated in the Ministry of Finance’s Financial Information Center’s research project on applying blockchain technology and established a prototype of blockchain application system for taxation administration. The system is an universal verifiable credential platform compliant with W3C Verifiable Credential Data Model. Citizens can download various tax certificates in the tax certificate wallet app and provide the proof of credentail to banks and other government agencies for verification.
COVID-19 Test Report Verification System
In 2021, when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, Snowbridge collaborated with Arbelos Genomics Inc. in California, USA, to develop a verification system for COVID-19 PCR test reports using verifiable credentials and DID blockchain. The system allows individuals to store test reports issued via blockchain on their mobile phones, and the verifiers can use a handheld POS machine to check the test results and print out a paper receipt for future reference.
